A injustiça em qualquer lugar é uma ameaça à justiça em todos os lugares. Minhas gravuras retratam as lutas dos oprimidos, silenciados e marginalizados. Uma figura com os olhos vendados e algemada representa as vítimas da injustiça sistêmica, como eu, que foram aprisionadas em um sistema judicial falho no Paquistão. Atualmente, estou lutando por um divórcio na Justiça, onde minha esposa me acusou falsamente de não ter recebido dote, apesar do fato de que ela nunca trouxe nenhum dote para nossa casa. Surpreendentemente, ela ganhou o caso, destacando as fraquezas do sistema judicial.
As linhas ousadas e o contraste marcante em meu esboço evocam a sensação de frustração e impotência que sinto. O esboço serve como um lembrete de que nosso silêncio coletivo pode perpetuar a injustiça e que nossas vozes e ações são cruciais na luta pela igualdade e pelos direitos humanos. Vamos nos esforçar para criar um mundo onde a justiça corra como as águas e a retidão como um rio que nunca seca.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. My prints depict the struggles of the oppressed, silenced, and marginalized. A figure blindfolded and shackled represents the victims of systemic injustice, like myself, who have been entrapped in a flawed justice system in Pakistan. I am currently fighting a divorce case in court, where my spouse has falsely accused me of not receiving dowry, despite the fact that she never brought any dowry into our home. Shockingly, she won the case, highlighting the weaknesses of the justice system.
The bold lines and stark contrast in my sketch evoke the sense of frustration and helplessness that I feel. The sketch serves as a reminder that our collective silence can perpetuate injustice, and that our voices and actions are crucial in the fight for equality and human rights. Let us strive to create a world where justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
